London, UK — 01 Sep 2025 — Musician and visual artist Nic Billington unveils his first-ever coffee table book, The Introverted Exhibitionist — an exclusive print-only collector’s edition that blends over 100 never-before-seen artistic nude photographs with an intimate written narrative exploring self-image, body dysmorphia, and the journey to unconditional self-acceptance.
The book spans six years of personal photography (2018–2024), including self-shot images and collaborations with Saint Nic Studios and Byron du Bois. Each page pairs striking visuals with deeply personal reflections, offering readers both a vulnerable confession and a universal reminder: we are all worthy as we are.
“These are the photos I once kept to myself. Now, they tell my story,” says Billington. “For years, I struggled with self-worth, thinking I was never fit enough, never ready enough. What I realised is that the images — and the story — were already there. This book is both a release and a reminder: you don’t have to be perfect to be seen.”
Breaking away from traditional publishing routes, Billington joins a growing wave of artists releasing work independently through print-on-demand platforms. By partnering with Blurb, he embraces a new model for creative freedom — making the book exclusively available in print, with no digital copies in existence. A way of the future, where creators control both their story and its presentation.
